L.J. Aviation has named Edward M. Kilkeary, Jr. president and chief operating officer.

Kilkeary is responsible for all aspects of L.J. Aviation’s day-to-day operations including aircraft management services, aircraft maintenance, commercial client services and FBO facility operations. In his expanded role, he will report to Edward M. Kilkeary, Sr., chairman and chief executive officer.

Ed started his career at L.J. Aviation in 1991 as a line pilot. He was appointed director of safety in 2007, vice president of operations in 2008, and president of operations in 2017. Along with his managerial duties, Ed remains current in the CL300 and CL604, and continues to fly operational flights. Ed is an ATP pilot with numerous type ratings and has over 10,000 flight hours

Mr. Kilkeary, Jr. received his initial ratings at the Community College of Beaver County and later attended St. Vincent College. He and his wife, along with their four children, reside in Latrobe, PA.
