The fleet of the German executive jet operator Silver Bird continues on its course of expansion: with its first Legacy 600 Silver Bird sets its sights on internationalisation

The acclaimed executive jet business Silver Bird Charterflug is expanding its fleet of Learjets with immediate effect with a Legacy 600 from the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer. "In operating our first Legacy 600 we are increasingly concentrating on internationalisation and offer our clients even an longer cruising range and an abundance of comfort", states Managing Director Jörg Socko. With a cruising range of 6 019 km (3 250 nm) the midsize jet flies nonstop from Frankfurt to Dubai, for instance, or from Munich to New York with only one stopover. Up to 13 passengers can be carried in the 1.75 m high cabin furnished with luxurious fittings. In addition to having a conference and a sleeping area at their disposal, during the flight passengers are treated to epicurean delights from the excellent galley kitchen. Phones, airshow, DVD and CD players provide state-of-the-art entertainment that will make the journey as pleasant as possible.

"In operating the Legacy we are not only further expanding the long-haul business but also the aircraft management division", continues Socko. Aircraft management is aimed specifically at owners of aircraft who are looking for an operator for their aircraft. "We are pleased that more aircraft owners are placing their trust in us and that we will be able to take reception of further long-haul aircraft in our fleet over the next few months. This not only safeguards jobs but also speaks for us as an operator", states Socko.
