ACC appoints new chief executive officer

ACC Aviation has announced the appointment of Philip Mathews as its new chief executive officer.

Mathews takes over from previous CEO, Phil Aird-Mash, who has moved into the role of executive chairman. Mathews’ career in aviation spans three decades, during which he has held operating board positions at Air Partner and Chapman Freeborn in the UK and US.

Aird-Mash commented: “I am delighted to welcome Philip to ACC. His comprehensive and diverse experience in aviation and international air charter, along with a strong track record of delivering profitable growth, made him the standout candidate to lead ACC into the next phase of its strategic development. I am looking forward to working with him and the remarkable team at ACC to deliver on our future growth strategy.”

On his appointment, Mathews said: “It is a pleasure to be joining ACC Aviation at this time. The role represents a fantastic opportunity to lead one of the aviation industry’s fastest-growing and most respected service providers.”

“The company has significant potential to continue its impressive growth journey and I am looking forward to working with the team and contributing to its continued expansion and development.”
