AvFab has received EASA approval for its new top of the track installed King Air ISR operator seats. This new design allows for installation through the top of the seat track which drastically reduces the time required to install the seat compared to “end of track designs” which often require equipment removal.
The AvFab King Air ISR operator seat 32-0493 provides maximum operator comfort with vertical seat adjustment of 3”, five-point restraint system, fore-aft floor tracking controlled via convenient hand levers and optional stowable arm rests.
Once installed, the seat can be tracked forward and aft in the track. Non-King Air installations can be accomplished by utilizing a mounting pallet that couples the seat to existing seat track.
The seat has become popular with both military and government agencies as it weighs only 33.0 lbs. (37.0 lbs with optional upholstery).
