Babcock Offshore Services Australasia Pty Ltd. has won a 'focus on execution' award from its customer ConocoPhillips via their own global supplier recognition program.

Babcock Offshore Services Australasia demonstrated leadership and a commitment to excellence during the complex transition of both helicopter provider and airframe in support of ConocoPhillips' Bayu-Undan production operations in the Joint Petroleum Development Area of the Timor Sea. A smooth transition was particularly important; as this was the first time Babcock's new Airbus H175 helicopter would be used in the southern hemisphere. In addition to meeting delivery dates and training pilots and mechanics on the new aircraft, Babcock collaborated with ConocoPhillips to build a new helicopter base in Dili, Timor-Leste in only nine months.

ConocoPhillips' business units around the world generated nominations internally, with winners chosen by a cross-functional committee of senior managers. Babcock was nominated by the Australia West Business Unit.
