Superfly has today secured a 5.2 million pound investment from two funds based in the Dubai International Financial Centre Free Zone (DIFC) to continue development of its private aviation technology projects and also to expand and grow the company's charter arm.

The funding will be used to advance and bring the company's technology projects, which includes a Skyscanner type booking app currently in beta testing that displays individual private jet seats alongside business class seats, to market. The new funding will also finance the opening of three new offices planned for later in the year in Monaco, Dubai and Moscow.

This latest round of funding means that since launching in 2015 and qualifying for the UK Government's Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) SuperFLY has so far raised over six million pounds mainly through private placements.
