airplus Maintenance appoints Robert Zehnder as head of customer service and planning

German MRO airplus Maintenance has appointed Robert Zehnder as its head of customer service and planning. In this role, he will oversee all commercial aspects;, including customer service, CAMO and work planning.

Before joining airplus Maintenance, Zehnder worked in various business aviation and airline MRO companies in Switzerland and abroad. He has many years of experience in operational and strategic leadership of business division, interdisciplinary and international teams. He has a business and management education and was several years in charge of sales, marketing, key account and product management. He started his aviation career as aircraft engineer first in the Swiss Air Force and thereafter with Swissair and SR Technics witha B1/B2 licence on wide body aircraft. He gained business aviation experience with Jet Aviation and Altenrhein Aviation. His latest role was with Kuerzi Avionics as head of customer service and buiness development.
