Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre
International Business Aviation Council
Press Release
Issued by Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre.
January 9, 2018
The Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) is pleased to announce that it has attained Stage 1 of the renowned International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) registration, a clear recognition of HKBAC's dedication to safety and customer experience. It marked a joyous start to the FBO's 20th anniversary in 2018.
The IS-BAH, jointly created by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), is a world-class business aviation code of practice for fixed-base operators (FBO) and business aircraft handling agents (BAHA), featuring at its core a safety management system (SMS). Being IS-BAH registered means HKBAC's stakeholders, customers and partners can be further assured of the company's safe and efficient operations. HKBAC will continue to reach beyond compliance to provide the seamless service it pledges its stakeholders, which aligns with the global standard and SMS requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), as well as other operation-critical industries.
