Press Release
Issued by Russian United Business Aviation Association.
November 1, 2017
On the 1st November 2017, voting for the nominees of the Wings of Business awards for the highest achievements in the field of business aviation, which was established by the Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA) in 2016, started in 12 of the 13 categories.
Since the online voting started the award organization committee has already received a total of 38 applications from enterprises from Russia, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania and Estonia. Each participant is provided with a personal page at the awards' dedicated website where one can find information about each company, its performance indicators, a provided description, logo and other information.
Online voting is available for any website visitor. Importantly, one can vote for only one category in each nomination. Online voting will continue until the 31st January 2018.
Anna Serezhkina, RUBAA executive director, invites everyone who is ready to participate in the project to send their applications and to vote on the website. “This year already from the moment the online voting opened almost 40 applications have been received. This demonstrates that the popularity and importance of the project is growing. I expect that this year there will be not less participants than last year; it is possible to send an application for a nomination after online voting has started. The organizational committee does not promote any company and it is up to the company to apply and to decide which information should be provided. I invite all to participate and hope to see you at the Wings of Business award ceremony on the 16th February 2018 in Moscow!”
During the period from the 1st November 2017 till the 31st January 2018 it will be possible to vote for one company in each nomination from one IP address. On the 31st January 2018 online voting will be stopped and the current results will be fixed. It will be followed by personal voting of RUBAA board and RUBAA members, which will be organized through filling in provided questionnaires. Each RUBAA member will be able to vote for one company in each of the presented nominations. Winners will be specified by a maximal rate. The rate will be formed by online voting by 10%, and by personal voting of RUBAA board and members by 90%. The results will be calculated by independent jury, elected by RUBAA board. Winners in all nominations will be announced at the Wings of Business Award ceremony on the 16th February 2018.
