Copter Covers (www.coptercovers.com) have announced that the first set of helicopter covers to visit the South Pole were used by Jennifer Murray and Colin Bodill in their Pole-to-Pole Expedition. The covers for their Bell 407 were made from an extreme performance fabric that Copter Covers MD, John Pattinson, trialled for the fabrication of high altitude balloons with Per Lindstrand the well-known balloonist. In addition to their private and corporate supply business, Copter Covers have achieved several other recent successes with contracts to supply military training helicopters, North Sea supply helicopters and operations in the UAE.
