Marenco Swiss Helicopter AG has announced that Jan Nowacki has been appointed as chief operating officer (COO). Nowacki begins the task as COO on the first of September.

Nowacki has previously gained considerable experience in this area at Airbus Helicopters as head of rotor blade and airframe with the manufacture of composite parts, structural assemblies and equipment as well as repair activities. MSH Marenco Swiss Helicopter will, in a second production hall in Näfels GL equipped with one of the largest autoclaves in Switzerland, manufacture rotor blades and composite parts itself and assemble these in its assembly hall in Mollis. 

Jan Nowacki commented: "In my new task, together with a small and very dynamic team, I will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the series production of the SKYe SH09. We are producing a very competitive helicopter with high quality and security." The certification of the SKYe SH09 is expected next year and the first deliveries to take place at the beginning of 2019. Until then and in relation to the series production, Jan Nowacki's tasks will include staffing and building up a highly qualified workforce.
