July 4, 2017
On 10 August 2017 Jurmala will host the VI Baltic Business Aviation Forum. Once more the warmly welcoming city will receive business aviation professionals from Russia and Europe for an informal evening reception in a chalet on the shores of the Riga bay. But this will be preceded a solid business program. The first part of it will be represented by a conference dedicated to key aspects of business aviation, to be followed by a tour of Riga International Airport and FBO Riga's business aviation centre.
“We organize airport visits every year, and it is important that each time there is something interesting even for our early visitors and moreover for those who come for the first time. This year, besides the airport itself, we will show our guests something unique; the aviation museum, where we will be offered a brief tour”, comments Anna Serezhkina, RUBAA executive director.
Ilona Lice, chairman of the board of Riga International Airport is glad to welcome the forum guests: “It is not the first year we wiil have received guests from the Baltic Business Aviation Forum. Business aviation itself is an important branch of the airport's performance, but we also have more to show besides the specialized business aviation terminal! Come visit us; I promise, it will be exciting!”
Roman Starkov, founder and co-owner of Flight Consulting Group, the holding that comprises FBO Riga business aviation centre, is also waiting for guests: “We have supported the forum from its very beginning and are very glad to participate in this partnership. This year we will wait again for both old and new friends. The terminal is performing fully; this year we are having a hot summer and we are receiving Jurmala music festivals and other events. But BBAF is an important part of our summer working (and not only!) program: during your visit to us we will, with pleasure, demonstrate our terminal, hangar, crew rooms and dispatching centre.”
