Blink, Europe's first air taxi service, has made three operational appointments as it continues to build the finest operations team in business aviation. The hires represent another key milestone for Blink as it takes advantage of its pioneering market position as the first European air taxi operator. Through its unique operating model Blink delivers the benefits of a business jet at a price competitive with commercial airlines. The three appointments are:
· Martin Bird - Quality Manager
· Stephen Pickering - Ground Operations Manager
· Julia Tsiros - Flight Services Manager
Stephen Pickering is an important part of our Flight Services Team. He is responsible for the safe operation of our fleet including punctuality, fleet efficiency, and all other aspects of Blink's pan-European ground operations. Stephen joins Blink after over 20 years with British Airways (BA) where he was the operations manager responsible for BA's entire fleet.
As Flight Services Manager, Julia Tsiros will lead the customer services function within the Flight Services Team. She will ensure that Blink's customers receive the highest levels of service throughout their interaction with Blink. Julia joins Blink after a successful career at Skyjet International where she was responsible for managing Skyjet's extensive customer experience.
Martin Bird is responsible for Blink's quality policy which ensures that Blink is compliant with its own and all regulatory safety and statutory requirements. He also ensures that Blink's high standards of safety and service are guaranteed. Martin brings exceptional civil and military experience to Blink where he will play a crucial role in building its AOC.
