Sevenair Academy ​has just added two brand new aircraft to its fleet; a Tecnam P2010 and a Tecnam P2006T.

The Tecnam P2010 sports a Garmin 1000 glass cockpit, a Lycoming 180 hp engine and four seats, reaching a top speed of 148 kts and a maximum range of 600 nm.

The Tecnam P2006T is a four-seater, twin-engine, two x 100 hp, with fully retractable landing gear. Also boasting a Garmin 950 glass cockpit, it can reach a top speed of 150 kts and a maximum range of 669 nm.

Both aircraft landed at Sevenair headquarters on May 14th, 2017, followed by the traditional baptism and flight inauguration.

According to Alexandre Alves, Sevenair's chief commercial officer​, these aircraft are "immediately available for use by the academy trainees, keeping up with our commitment to offer the latest technology and the highest multi-engine flight hours on the market, highly relevant factors for an airline pilot career."

Sevenair ​established the first Portuguese aviation school from ab initio to license under new European rules.
