Fresh Air, in conjunction with Apollo Aviation, has been selected by Cardiff City Heliport Ltd to provide full aviation services for the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, to be held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 3rd June.

Cardiff City Heliport is experiencing significant international demand ahead of the match and Fresh Air will deliver a full helicopter charter service for the VIPs, footballing dignitaries and celebrities looking to arrive in comfort and style.

Fresh Air, part of One Event Management Ltd, expects over 150 flights during the course of the event and will be providing a full registration and slot allocation process, full air traffic control services, fully trained ground handlers and check in/check out agents available on site in Cardiff.

The 2017 UEFA Champions League Final is the showcase match of the European football season and will see 11-time European Cup winners and defending champions, Real Madrid, take on Italian giants Juventus in front of a 66,000 capacity stadium.

Ian Halliday, director at Fresh Air, said: “We are excited to be expanding our heliport business by partnering with Cardiff City Heliport for the UEFA Champions League Final. We are looking forward to using the customised state of the art (mobile) air traffic control unit we have recently invested in, which gives us the opportunity to provide a total heliport and helicopter solution on a global stage.”
