London Biggin Hill airport introduced significantly extended operating hours on the 1st of May. These are as follows;

- 06.30 to 23.00 Monday to Friday

- 08.00 to 22.00 Weekends and Public Holidays

Biggin Hill has witnessed unprecedented growth in business aviation movements over the last year, mainly due to more activity in the Bombardier and Gulfstream sector of the utra-long range corporate types.

This sustains a trend that Biggin Hill (the only dedicated business aviation airport actually sited in London) is establishing itself as the preferred gateway for London and the City. The extended operating hours will bring considerable benefits to customers in addition to the lower costs of operating flights through Biggin Hill, no slot restrictions and the fastest transfer to London of just six-minutes via the London HeliShuttle service.
