Aviation Management Services (Cayman) Ltd. announces new business launch

Cayman owned and based Aviation Management Services (Cayman) Ltd. is pleased to announce today that it has commenced business operations. Initial startup began on June 16, 2016, with full operations beginning on August 1, 2016 in the Grand Cayman headquarters. International operations are scheduled to commence once worldwide offices come online effective November 1, 2016.

AMS is focused on serving the needs of aircraft operators by supporting them with full-service, completely hands-on customer support solutions for all aviation operations. Primary services include, but are not limited to: Worldwide Aircraft Registry; Aviation/Flight Department Management; Delivery and Acceptance Services; Safety, Quality, and Security Audits; Financial Due Diligence Audits and Education; Crew Resourcing; and Aircraft Purchase and Lease Financing.

All AMS services are all-inclusive, providing upfront pricing that fully inform the decision maker of all costs for each deliverable before, during, and after completion. “We feel that an informed owner is the best way to succeed in any work that we offer or engage in,” says William Mermelstein, operations manager and founding partner. With over 45-years of aviation experience, Mermelstein notes that, “the best surprise is no surprise.”

With offices located in Guildford, United Kingdom; Shanghai, China; and Chandler, Arizona, USA, AMS is well-positioned globally to provide all of our services in a timely and cost effective manner.

AMS is a partnership formed by Marcus Cumber and William Mermelstein whose relationship spans two decades. Cumber, owner of Island Air Ltd., Cayman's oldest and largest FBO, remarks that, “William and I formed AMS to round out my desire of providing the best customer support and services in all areas of aviation operations.” Additionally, Cumber noted that, “Grand Cayman is ideal for many reasons, and allows our existing and new customers options and benefits to exceeding their business and personal needs and financial goals.”
