Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) hosts strategic meeting ahead of ABACE17

AsBAA, Asia's non-profit representative trade body for business and general aviation today hosted a closed-door leadership and strategy meeting ahead of ABACE17. In attendance was the AsBAA board of directors, chairman Charlie Mularski, vice chairmen David Best and Kevin Wu and members of the board of governors representing mainland China, Hong Kong and southeast Asia.

Chairman Charlie Mularski said, “This is a vital year for AsBAA, we need to ensure consistency as we head into a transitional period of leadership change. Today's meeting objective was to define a clear set of deliverables for 2017 that meet the needs of the members, the industry and that ensure the association's survival on order that it can continue serving our members. We have achieved this today and we look forward to engaging with our members at ABACE.”

David Best, vice chairman said, “AsBAA's value proposition can be defined in three over-arching areas; advocacy, representation and community. All AsBAA's activities fall within these three major pillars, creating value for our members that includes lobbying, resolving issues, events such as the Icons of Aviation Awards and of course to create a powerful and compelling community voice through the association. There has been massive progress made in the last three years and we look forward to sharing this good news with our members at the wider industry at ABACE”.

Kevin Wu, ASBAA's China based vice chairman added that, "The business aviation community is focused on China and the rest of Asia this week, which brings attention on the great progress being made in the Region which ASBAA will continue to support for its members and the broader industry.
