AsBAA, Asian Business and General Aviation Association, Asia's non-profit representative trade body for business and general aviation has today announced an all-star line-up for the Student Careers Day at ABACE17, the Asian Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition. The association will host the student day on day three of the conference for the third consecutive year. Announced for this year, following the continued interest and success of the student chapter across the region, AsBAA has launched a new campaign slogan, AsBAA Discovery NextGen of Aviators.

AsBAA spokesperson Amy Yang shared, “We launched the Student Chapter initiative back in 2015 to create sustainable growth within our industry and address a shortage of new talent being naturally drawn into business and general aviation. Our members have engaged and visited numerous universities in China, Hong Kong and southeast Asia in the last few years. The annual ABACE event is the perfect platform to reveal AsBAA Discovery, with over 230 students from Chinese universities in attendance. We look forward to the continued success of AsBAA Discovery so that our industry can enjoy long-term sustainability and growth.”

This year's AsBAA Discovery program is being held on Thursday 13th April from 0930L to 1500L at the General Session Area at the ABACE convention Hall. The speaker line-up includes: Ed Bolen, CEO and president of NBAA, Ms. Xia Wang, general secretary of CARAGA, Diana Chou, founder and chairperson of Dragon General Aviation Group, Sylvia Zhang, founder of Fast Transit, Jenny Lau, president of Sino Jet, Margarita Ma, chairperson of Jing Gong-Global Jet, Lenny Zhang, chief marketing officer Beijing999, Sarah Magee, business development manager of RDT (Tempus) & MEDAIR, Kai Duell, senior advisor of GAMA, Ms Hui Lan Sun, general secretary of AVIC Foundation, Fred Zhang, senior marketing manager Rockwell Collins, Qi Jun Tong PhD, founder of EFY Intelligent Control (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd.

Other participating companies includes: Honor Jet, Sparkle Roll Jet, HAECO, Lufthansa Technic, AVIC Joy Air Holdings, Pilatus and BluInc Media.
