Georgian hospitality group launches new air taxi service

Adjara Group Hospitality has launched a new Georgian air company, Aviator. Adjara Group Hospitality is the largest and the fastest-growing holding company in hospitality sector of Georgia, both in quantitative and qualitative terms, which owns and manages Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, Holiday Inn Tbilisi and Fabrika Hostel.

Aviator is the first Georgian airline by Adjara Group Hospitality and is offering air taxi services on both, domestic and international routes.

Aviator has obtained its aircraft operator certificate and started operations on December 5, 2016.

Aviator is performing flights with a brand new Beechcraft King Air C90GTx. Equipped with a five seat business class interior and the latest technologies, the aircraft provides comfort and safety during the flight. Its up scale private cabin contains special vibration absorbers to keep the area quiet. A framed square-oval design provides more headroom and shoulder space for every passenger.

Based in Tbilisi International Airport, the brand new King Air C90GTx will be offering flights from Tbilisi International Airport to all airports in Georgia and the Caucasus region, including Yerevan, Baku, Trabzon, Istanbul and others. Aviator is planning to further develop air taxi services

by adding more aircraft to the fleet.

Aviator’s staff and pilots were trained in one of the best training centers in the United States. At this stage the company employs more than 20 aviation professionals.

Within the frames of “Spatial Planning of the Country” project, implemented by the Georgian government, Adjara Group Hospitality aims to contribute with various activities, such as building the airport in Stepantsminda, as a result supporting the positioning of Georgia as a modern tourism destination.
