United Helicopters International Group Limited and Lakeshore International Aviation Limited have agreed on a business acquisition. According to the agreement, United Helicopters will acquire 100% of the equity and business of Lakeshore International Aviation by the end of February, 2017.

In November, 2016 after the China International Aviation Exhibition Center in Zhuhai, China, Lakeshore International Aviation Ltd. became an authorized agent of Russian Helicopters JSC for the marketing and promotion of Russian made civilian helicopters in China. Before that the two companies had a history of cooperation in the Asian helicopter market with joint research projects aimed at identifying the most attractive regions for sales and consulting with regional operators of civilian helicopters in China and southeast Asia.

At the same time, United Helicopters International Group has recently become Russian Helicopters' first distributor of civilian helicopters in the greater China region including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Malaysia and Australia. Apart from product sales and marketing promotion of civilian Russian-made helicopters in the designated area, objectives set for the cooperation also include providing after-sales support, spare parts supply and building up relationships with leasing companies.

The acquisition of Lakeshore International Aviation Ltd. will allow United Helicopters International Group to take over Lakeshore International Aviation in the implementation of all the matters related to the business with Russian Helicopters JSC on the one hand, and strengthen the team and business processes on the other.
