Biggin Hill-based private jet operator, Interflight, has announced the appointment of Andy Howel as director of flight operations.

Howel follows the recent appointment of Trevor Jones as accountable manager, as part of a new senior management team, driving the transformation of Interflight into a leading private jet operator.

Howel brings experience from the top end of business jet operations, including experience of flying Falcon and Hawker aircraft, as well as type rating instruction on Global Express. With 18 years in the industry behind him, Howel brings a wide range of experience in AOC and corporate management.

As director of flight operations, Howel will be responsible for the management of the operations department, including technical, training and standards, crew planning and scheduling. 

Speaking on the appointment, accountable manager Trevor Jones says “I am delighted to welcome Andy to the team, who brings with him extensive experience in high end VIP aviation. Andy will be a key player in the transformation of Interflight and we are excited about this new direction for the company.”
