Asian Sky Group wins 'Best Media' at AsBAA awards

After having been nominated for four Icons of Aviation awards, presented by the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), Asian Sky Group (ASG) took home the award for 'Best Media', at the AsBAA Icons of Aviation awards charity gala dinner, held November 6th in Hong Kong.

The prestigious Icons of Aviation awards are the business aviation industry's only award ceremony in Asia, based on merit and voted by fellow industry members.

The 'Best Media' award stems from ASG's work on its annual business jet and civil helicopter Fleet Reports, Asian Sky Quarterly magazines, and its latest Charter and Training School reports. ASG has been producing Fleet Reports since 2012, providing comprehensive coverage on the Asia-Pacific region and a breakdown of the business jet and civil helicopter fleets in each country. The Fleet Reports have established themselves as an indispensable source of information for the entire business aviation community.

Asian Sky Quarterly supplies information on market intelligence and trends, Asia-specific and country-specific macroeconomic indicators, data on market mood, as well as availability and sale prices for specific aircraft types to help potential buyers, sellers, and industry members better understand current market conditions in Asia. Also included are interviews with top industry members, offering further insight into the industry, as well as a country profile, spotlighting business aviation in a specific country. The fifth edition of Asian Sky Quarterly will be available in February 2017.

“We are excited to have been awarded the 'Best Media' award by AsBAA,” says ASG managing director, Jeffrey Lowe. “These awards validate our hard work and effort, proving that ASG is dedicated to delivering comprehensive information in the best way possible to the aviation industry.”

The 'Best Media' award follows the release of ASG's inaugural Asia-Pacific Training Report, offering an in-depth look at training schools throughout the region.
