Press Release
Issued by AeroEx.
May 20, 2016
AeroEx is advising that there are only few months left for NCC operators to show compliance with EASA Part NCC regulations.
The new regulations require operators to set up an appropriate organizational structure, a safety and compliance monitoring system (SMS), operations manuals, personnel requirements, specific approvals, etc.
Operators will need to be familiar with the EASA Basic regulation and the Air Operations regulation. They will also need to comply with the detailed implementing rules in Annex III (Part-ORO Organisation Requirements) and Annex VI (Part-NCC). If an operator needs specific approvals, for example, covering low visibility operations, performance based navigation or dangerous goods, they will need to comply with elements of Annex V (Part-SPA). Affected operators need to understand the rules and ensure they are in compliance.
Joel Hencks, managing director of AeroEx warns that there are “less than three months to go for this deadline, which is a challenging one as most of the operators affected are not used to the European regulatory environment. After the deadline you must comply or you might be grounded.” Joel Hencks has significant experience regarding aviation regulatory compliance and is currently very prominent on the lecture circuit regarding Part NCC.
