Press Release
Issued by Global Trek Aviation.
May 20, 2016
Global Trek Aviation has recently celebrated the first year of its hugely successful fixed based operation (FBO) at Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland and to mark this milestone has just confirmed its second dedicated Jet A1 fuel truck, as well as a further significant increase in its ground support equipment levels to keep up with customer demand.
Managing director, David McColm commented “I was delighted to receive such high levels of positive feedback from clients during our first year, and our unprecedented levels of business for a newly established FBO were testament to the outstanding service and costs savings experienced by clients. We have invested heavily in our first year to ensure that our customers receive the excellent service they deserve and will continue to invest growing our presence in the years to come.”
Commercial director, Colin Gordon added “ Our first year was not only challenging but hugely successful indeed. We hit the ground running from day one and have grown the business considerably with healthy traffic movements. As a result of our fuel volumes exceeding what we initially forecasted, the introduction of our additional new 40K litre fuel tanker, which will compliment our existing 18K litre Jet A1 refueling truck, is a great achievement and welcome development. This will help us further support our ever growing list of satisfied customers, who arrive in Belfast International utilising our VIP support, whether this is for a quick transatlantic tech/fuel stop requirement or indeed an official visit.”
Colin concluded “I would like to thank all our aviation clients who have supported us in our first year, making it a real success, as their valued custom is truly appreciated and we look forward to welcoming them all back, along with many more new clients when opportunities arise.”
