AMSTAT releases latest business aircraft resale market update; report shows business aircraft transaction activity stalled in Q1

According to AMSTAT, the leading provider of corporate aviation fleet and operator information, across all fixed wing and rotor wing business aircraft segments, resale retail transaction activity was essentially unchanged in Q1 2016 versus Q1 2015.

The Light Jet resale retail transaction activity was brighter than the other segments covered by AMSTAT with Q1 performance at 2.7%, up from 2.4% in Q1 2015 and 2.5% in Q1 2014. Turbine Helicopter transaction activity in Q1 was flat versus Q1 2015 with 1.1% turnover. This performance was mirrored in the Multi-Engine segment with Q1 activity at 0.7% versus 0.8% in Q1 2015. Similarly, Single Engine Q1 activity was at 1.4%, compared to 1.3% in Q1 2015.
