"Prestige Flight Ambulance" revealed at MEBA

Prestige Jet, the fastest-growing private jet operator in the region, has today announced it has launched a new subsidiary company, Prestige Flight Ambulance (PFA) to cater for the massive surge in demand for its medical evacuation and repatriation services from the region.

The new company underlines a successful operation that was launched earlier this year to offer a worldwide air ambulance service for patients to transport them from/to UAE and any destination in the world.

His Excellency Gaith Ben Hamil Al-Gaith, Chairman of Prestige Jet, says: "Our medical evacuation services have been recognized as the foremost in the industry in the region. As a result we have been growing exponentially. We have recently won the UAE Ministry of Health tender because we provide a service of the highest standards to ensure the comfort and safety of patients seeking or requiring treatment elsewhere in the world.

"Our new subsidiary company is a natural progression of the successful relationship we have enjoyed. The outstanding services of the highly trained team of medical and aviation professionals, their customer-focus and attention to detail generated a high demand for the business in the region."

Through Prestige Flight Ambulance, Prestige Jet will operate two dedicated aircraft permanently positioned in Abu Dhabi, a Challenger 604 and a Lear 55, to carry patients to any destination in the world. All medical evacuation trips are carried on board of fully-equipped aircraft, the equivalent of an on-board intensive care unit and are staffed from a pool of highly experienced paramedics who are permanently in practice.

The company's craft and crew operate to international standards and work closely with individual patients' own physicians, who often accompany the patient on board the flight. It also provides a female crew when needed.

Faris Deeb, Managing Director of Prestige Jet, says that the move comes following high demand for air ambulance services from the private sector as well as government, the military and private hospitals. "Since the beginning of the year, we have been tasked with more than 45 medical evacuation missions that include critical cases, from the health ministry, local health authorities and private medical hospitals, with a 100 per cent success rate."

Prestige Flight Ambulance expects a growth of 60% by adding these two dedicated state-of-the-art air ambulance jets. "The Challenger 604 and the Lear 55 will facilitate a worldwide bedside-to-bedside service on a personal handling basis, without restrictions, 24x7," explains Faris Deeb.

"No competitor can come even close to what we offer in terms of the best pool of specialized doctors and medical professionals, combined with the latest medical equipment and unmatched on-the-ground and airborne services for the most delicate cases throughout the trip. This has led to a tremendous growth that we expect to continue," adds Faris Deeb.

Prestige Flight Ambulance has owned the number one position in the air flight ambulance, building a reputation of trust, quality, service and competitive pricing, which sets it apart from other medical operators.

H.E. Ghaith Al Ghaith concludes: "Prestige Flight Ambulance is well placed to cement our well-earned position as the leading air ambulance operator in the UAE and the region. It is another example of our strategy of 'Think Globally, Act Locally.'"
