AMAC Aerospace to acquire 6,400 sqm of premium land based at Milas Bodrum Airport, Turkey

AMAC Aerospace has successfully signed a contract with the Turkish airport authorities to acquire 6,400 sqm of premium land based at Milas Bodrum Airport inTurkey.

The land surface will allow for a hangar to be built of 4,000 sqm allowing either two A321s or two Boeing 737-800 NGs to sit wing tip to wing tip. The services to be provided will be both line and base maintenance as with corporate and commercial maintenance activities for the aforementioned aircraft OEMs and their respective models, Airbus A318/319/320/321 and Boeing B737-300/400/500/600/700 and -800, as well as the support of Dassault Falcon 2000, 900 series and Pilatus PC 12.

“AMAC Aerospace has gauged the market to make this exciting venture come to reality which further enhances AMAC's presence in the Turkish region to stimulate options for our esteemed clientele in the Middle East region” said Mr. Kadri Muhiddin, group executive chairman and chief executive officer.

The hangar will be handed to AMAC Aerospace in November 2016 with a launch customer being Tailwind Airlines to perform seven C checks on their B737-400 and B737- 800 aircraft.
