The Egyptian Petroleum Air Services (PAS) has signed an agreement to buy a third EC135 Eurocopter helicopter and 2 helicopters as options. The air services transportation company recently reinforced its aircraft fleet with the world's best-selling light twin-engine helicopter, the EC135. The first EC135 was delivered end of 2007, the second early 2008. The aircraft are used to transport oil rig crews from the Egyptian mainland to the oil rigs.
