SmartJet launches service dedicated to FBOs and maintenance workshops

After several months of beta testing, the software company Smartjet, based in Paris and Geneva, is continuing its development and launch of a dedicated solution for FBOs and maintenance workshops.

Created by a passionate team of digital experts, a pilot and a developer, SmartJet is the meeting of two worlds, the world of aviation and the digital.

“In a world in which digital is at core of uses and business concerns, it seemed critical to offer to the business aviation market an innovative tool designed to simplify the lives of aircraft owners, operators and pilots.” said a spokesman.

Indeed, operating a business aircraft happens to be a very complex task that requires many steps and skills. This fully justifies the automation to save time and provide a real plus in terms of security but also to optimize costs.

Based on a proven knowledge of the general aviation sector and after a two year design phase that has associated the actors themselves, SmartJet offers a new philosophy to software, addressing each link in the chain: From the pilot to the pax, the flight ops manager, the FBOs, the travel agents; all within the same interface. The application will include assistance at every stage of the booking to flight preparation, editing assistance requests and PPR, communication with its FBO, through book entry logs and operational reporting and technical analysis and the history of all activity without forgetting the schedule management machinery and crew.

With its ergonomic design, a web based technology and resolutely innovative user experience, SmartJet offers a tool that is both simple and powerful. An innovation made largely possible by new technological framework such as Google Angular JS or Boostrat front office language.

Currently in testing with several operators in France and Switzerland, the application will soon be on the market, in Europe first and then internationally.
