Iron Maiden singer plans to cooperate with Flaris manufacturer

The Flaris LAR 1 jet, which was created near Jelenia Góra in Poland, has again won the hearts of visitors at the Paris Air Show, the largest aviation event in the world. The enthusiasts of the small jet include the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson who

announced his intention to purchase several Flaris planes. The musician and the manufacturers of the jet are planning to cooperate in selling Flaris aircraft in Great Britain.

"Just like two years ago, Flaris attracts huge interest. Our stand is visited by many representatives of the media, business, politics and the aviation industry. One of the guests who was delighted by our plane was the pilot and lead singer of Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson," says Sylwia Ładzińska, the manufacturer of the jet.

The musician visited the Flaris stand on June 16th. Metal-Master, the plane manufacturer, and the lead singer of Iron Maiden are planning to cooperate in selling Flaris aircraft in Great Britain. It should be underlined that since mid-2012 Bruce Dickinson has been co-founder and co-owner of Cardiff Aviation, a maintenance company for passenger airplanes, and he is also an experienced pilot with over 10,000 hours logged. The lead singer of Iron Maiden announced during an interview for TVN 24 that apart from cooperation with Metal Master he is also interested in buying several Flaris airplanes.

THe Flaris LAR 1 attracts interest because of its unique characteristics. It is an alternative to crowded motorways and time-consuming flights on commercial airlines. This modern mean of personal transport is ideal for those who need to travel quickly. It has folding wings, requires only 200m of runway and is so easy and intuitive to fly that only a private pilot license is needed. The Flaris LAR 1 is very light-weight; it weighs only 700 kg but at the same time is durable, thanks to the application of state-of-the-art certified pre-impregnated carbon fibers. It is also very fast; it's cruise speed is 700 km/h. Owing to its unique lift-to-drag ratio, which is equivalent to that of a glider, and a monocoque drop-shaped fuselage, the Flaris LAR 1 can fly a distance of 18 km without propulsion for every one km of height loss and land in unconventional area. These are some of the reasons why it is conquering the world. And it is scheduled to soar the skies later this year! It will be available for purchase in 2016.

This year's event currently taking place at the Le Bourget airport hosts 2400 exhibitors. This is a record number in the history of the show, which started 100 years ago. From today to Sunday the public will have the opportunity to see 150 planes.
