Heli-One, the world's largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced it has completed its first proprietary repair in its Poland facility of an AgustaWestland AW139 first generation duct. Heli-One's facility in Rzeszow completed the repair for a third party customer, making it mission ready in just 10 days.
Heli-One developed the propriety repair, which is approved by both EASA and Transport Canada, to provide AW139 operators a swift and cost-efficient alternative for replacing damaged exhaust ducts. The repair is now offered in Heli-One's Rzeszow, Poland and Boundary Bay, Canada facilities.
"Our team of engineers and technicians are dedicated to providing the most efficient and economical solutions for our customers. Previously AW139 operators would often need to replace exhaust ducts when they were unserviceable.
