Deer Jet wins World's Leading Private Jet Charter 2015 award

The Beijing-based private jet operator, Deer Jet, has won the "World's Leading Private Jet Charter 2015" award at the World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony held in El Jadida, Morocco on December 12, 2015.

"This is the first time a Chinese business jet operator has won the world-class award," said Meishan Poon, service director at Deer Jet, when receiving the award on behalf of the company. "Over the past 20 years, we have constantly focused on the true needs of our customers and dedicated ourselves to serve them, not only by offering them more aircraft choices and developing MRO and FBOs, but also with our passion and effort. We will work harder to become a comprehensive provider of global high-end lifestyle services in the future, and continue to strive to develop the business jet industry in China and abroad."

20 years ago, Deer Jet started the first business jet operation in China and became the largest jet operator of Asia in 2001. In recent years, when the region entered a period of rapid growth, Deer Jet remained the first choice of jet customers by offering the biggest fleet size, multiple aircraft choices, flexible operating ability, high-profile service and a 20-year safety record. Now, it operates more than 80 business jets, has landed at nearly 740 airports in 170 countries, and its fixed-base operator (FBO) network covers the entire Asia Pacific region. The operator has earned around 70% of the market share in China and has gained the trust of every one of its many clients, including, among them, many celebrities such as the renowned concert pianist Lang Lang, and European royalty.

WTA is a globally recognized symbol for industry excellence, and has been frequently referred to by The Wall Street Journal and many other media outlets as the Academy Awards of the tourism industry. From 2007 WTA started granting a prestigious business jet operator award annually. Deer Jet was selected as the winner by a wide range of tourism professionals, from among nine best regional private jet charter winners, and named this year's "world's leading private jet charter 2015".
