Press Release
Issued by Stratajet.
November 15, 2015
Stratajet, the world's only 'Kayak' style, instant business aviation online marketplace that is already selling complete private jet trips to European consumers, has announced at the 2015 National Business Aviation (NBAA) Convention in Las Vegas that it is to open an office in the United States by the end of the year.
Stratajet's London based team recently completed the first phase of its campaign to gain a critical mass of 500 European operator aircraft onto its platform and officially launched its live booking system to the travelling customer at the end of September.
Stratajet is the only company in the world to offer web-based software that features unique technology allowing aircraft, which currently fly empty to reposition, to be included in trip quotes.
A customer can search for and book a jet in under three minutes without any calls or middlemen involvement. Actual prices are displayed within seconds. Operators are delighted as a time-consuming, labour-intensive task is now much more efficient.
The technology also features the ability to include all of the variable costs of a trip such as handling and out of hours and airfield charges.
Commenting on its US expansion, Stratajet ceo, Jonny Nicol, said “Stratajet has already generated the exact price for over 50,000 charter trips just last week, saving operators over 12,500 hours of quoting. This is the equivalent of operators replying to a quote every 15 minutes for a year and a half."
Nicol continued “Companies like Gama Aviation and Signature Flight Support have seen the benefit of what Stratajet's technology can do to increase the market reach for their businesses and now is the time for the US to be able to join the party. As a truly international tech company that is already disrupting and growing a stagnant market, Silicon Valley is the perfect place for Stratajet to set up its US office and to build its State-side business. We are looking forward to demonstrating our platform at NBAA and inviting all forward thinking companies to be part of this game changing event”.
