RocketRoute today announced that Rega Swiss Helicopter Rescue has selected its Heli-Ops platform for its business.

Rega provides an around-the-clock emergency medical service from 15 bases in Switzerland with 17 helicopters and will implement RocketRoute across its operations.

The RocketRoute solution provides helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) with a rapid response flight planning platform that allows planners and pilots to prepare and file flight plans and generate crew briefings without disrupting or delaying an emergency flight.

The key benefits of the system are summarized as:

- All data and charts required for low level VFR and IFR flights integrated.

- Automatic and real-time tracking from connected mobile apps.
