StandardAero has announced the addition of two new field service professionals to support the company's growing commitment to PT6 turboprop engine operators.

Rick Herrera has been appointed field service representative for the northwestern U.S., Alaska and Hawaii. He will be stationed in Vancouver, Washington. With more than 18 years experience in the aviation industry, Herrera brings extensive mechanical expertise and substantial knowledge of a variety of airframes and engine models to his new role, as well as experience developing creative maintenance solutions for customers.

In addition, Henry Young has been appointed field service representative to support customers in the Asia Pacific region. He will be based in Singapore. Young brings more than 28 years of extensive experience and knowledge in the aerospace industry, previously serving in roles including engineering and maintenance, system configuration testing and implementation of advanced aviation maintenance and material management software systems.

In June of this year, StandardAero announced the reorganization and expansion of its field service team to better support commercial aviation customers with MRO services and AOG support. These personnel appointments continue to demonstrate the company's investment to bring more capabilities to the field.

StandardAero's comprehensive field service includes engine maintenance, repair, overhaul and test, shipping and logistics, leased engine support, on-wing removal and reinstallation, on-site problem solving and troubleshooting, engine reliability monitoring, comprehensive warranty support and component repair and overhaul for commercial aviation customers worldwide.
