Angel Jet Network gearing up for first flight

Angel Jet Network today announced that it is preparing for the charity's inaugural flight. The flight is being donated to orphan patients from Chunhui Bo'ai Children's Foundation. It is currently scheduled to coincide with Beijing CIBAS 2015 (Sept 24-26th).

Founded in April this year during the Asia Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai, Angel Jet Network (AJN) is the first charitable organization in the Asia Pacific region whose vision is to be the cornerstone organization in Asia utilizing extra resources in the aviation industry, enabling private jet owners, general aviation operators, and airlines to provide impoverished patients with free air transportation to the best medical treatment available. Flights will also carry teams of medical experts heading to more remote and hard-to-reach locations.

“The patients we are helping are sourced through established charities currently serving communities and individuals in need of critical medical care. These patients will not need medical equipments to travel with, which makes them ideal for any aircraft carriers.” explained Lydia Sheng, executive director of Angel Jet Network, “We are excited to be working with Chunhui Children's Foundation on this first project, as we have always admired their efforts. They have a solid network of child welfare institutions that they work with all over China, and they have their China Care Home in Beijing providing loving round-the-clock pre- and post-surgeries care for medically fragile orphans from these institutions. As such, there are always needs for orphan patients to fly to Beijing from around China for treatment.”

“We are very excited about this first flight, as I call it the maiden voyage. This September we have three children born with defects in need of critical medical care. They are all from the South and some of them need to have multiple surgeries. Flying them has always been a bit of a struggle for us. I believe many other similar charities like us must face the same difficulties. With Angel Jet Network, we will be able to give our orphans the necessary medical attention and save more lives,” said Cindy Shueh Ling, the ceo of Chunhui Children's Foundation.
