Bond to operate two H145 aircraft for Scottish Air Ambulance

The two new H145 helicopters Bond Air Services will operate for the Scottish Air Ambulance (SAS) were unveiled at a ceremony at Glasgow Airport recently.

The aircraft are the second and third H145s to join the Bond Air Services fleet and will operate for SAS across Scotland.

Scottish Health Secretary Shona Robison said: “The quality and sophistication of the new technology that the crews will now have access to is impressive.

“Not only will the new aircraft improve patient care and experience for those that need an urgent response from the ambulance service, but will also help communities living in remote and rural areas.”

Managing director of Bond Air Services, Tim Shattock, added: “This is a great step forward for the development of our fleet and our services
