Associated Air Center (AAC) has obtained ANAC (Agencia Nacional De Aviacao Civil) 145 repair station certification from the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority. The certification was received on June 19, 2015, after a detailed onsite audit from the Brazilian Authority. ANAC repair station certification will now allow AAC to maintain, repair, and modify Brazilian registered vip aircraft and return them to service.
The certification will apply for vvip interior completions, scheduled maintenance, cabin refurbishment and cabin systems upgrades performed at AAC's FAR-145 FAA repair station, at the company's Dallas Love Field location.
“Our ANAC certification will provide Brazilian registered aircraft operators with more options outside of their country and ensure they can select the best possible maintenance/repair services for vip aircraft,” said James Colleary, president of AAC. “We hold several foreign 145 repair station approvals which gives us an edge and opportunity for supporting a broad global customer base.”
In addition, AAC holds a wide variety of certifications attesting to the company's comprehensive capabilities, quality and reliability. These include an FAA organization designation authorization (ODA) and numerous other foreign civil aviation certifications.
“Our new ANAC 145 repair station approval opens another door to Latin America and we are already pursuing completions projects for multiple Brazilian customers, less than a month of our certification approval,” Colleary added.
