Universal Avionics is pleased to announce that it has named Stevens Aviation to be its Top Dealer of 2008. The announcement and subsequent award presentation was performed at the 61st Annual NBAA Convention in Orlando, Florida.
Universal Avionics President and CEO Joachim L. "Ted" Naimer presented the award to Neal McGrail, Chief Operating Officer of Stevens Aviation. Also in attendance for Universal were Senior Corporate Vice President Don Berlin, Chief Operating Officer Paul DeHerrera, Vice President of Marketing Dan Reida and Regional Marketing Manager Tom Hook. In attendance for Stevens was Executive Vice President Larry Baker, Vice President of Avionics Sales and Defense Avionics Group Jim Williams.
Each year Universal Avionics recognizes one dealer who achieves outstanding sales perfor mance. This year we congratulate Stevens Aviation for reaching this goal. A series of sales and marketing programs which were well received by the customer base led Stevens to the top spot this year. The Lear4Ever upgrade program, launched in summer, provides Lear 35/35A operators with a package of advanced cockpit upgrades including the all new Universal EFI-890R avionics suite and a new instrument panel. Customers can choose from additional options such as the Universal UNS-1Lw WAAS/SBAS-FMS System, Class A or B TAWS and Universal Vision-1® Synthetic Vision System - the first Synthetic Vision available on a Part 25 aircraft. Stevens also marketed a unique configuration for Lear 60 operators which feature an MFD-890R upgrade. Its B200 and B300 program features three EFI-890R flat panel displays, and have completed six of fourteen to date.
