Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia has recently added a new nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery shop to its facilities. The battery shop will be operational in June 2015.

With a fully equipped battery shop on-site in Jeddah, Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia is able to check, charge and overhaul most battery models at its facility rather than outsourcing the work.

“We are very pleased to introduce an in-house battery service for our customers in Jeddah and Riyadh,” said Alain Champonnois, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia. “Our goal is to provide our clients the best support possible and the battery shop is our latest initiative aimed at improving efficiency and reducing aircraft downtime.”
