Fly Comlux receives EBAA Silver Safety of Flight Award for 30 years (70,000 hours) of accident free operations

Comlux the Aviation Group is pleased to announce that its vip operator Fly Comlux has received a Silver Safety of Flight Award at the European Business Aviation Association's (EBAA's) award ceremony at the EBACE2015 Safety Workshop in Geneva.

The EBAA Safety of Flight Awards highlight the continued focus on maintaining and improving safety best practices at companies' flight departments. Fly Comlux is only 12 years old, but it was granted the Silver Award for having reached more than 70,000 hours of operation without accident.

Presenting the Safety of Flight Awards, Brian Humphries, EBAA president, said: “During each year's EBACE, we not only work to enhance our approach to business aviation safety, but also take a moment to recognize the decades-long commitment that companies have made toward creating a culture around the safety of flight. Simply put, when it comes to flight safety, these companies are the leaders, and their accomplishments should be recognized.”

“On behalf on the whole Fly Comlux team, I am extremely proud to receive the EBAA Silver Safety Award which demonstrates our continuous focus on maintaining and improving safety best practices in our company “said Andrea Zanetto, ceo Fly Comlux “With the implementation of our safety management system (SMS) in October 2014, the registration of Comlux Malta to the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) in March 2015, the registration of Comlux KZ to IATA Safety Standard Assessment earlier this month, and today the EBAA Safety Award, our charter and aircraft management customers benefit from the assurance that our operations meet and exceed international best standards.”
