Cobham delivers Ceramic Oxygen Generation System (COGS) to Scandinavian Avionics in first commercial application in Europe

Cobham has delivered a two-litre Ceramic Oxygen Generation System (COGS) to Scandinavian Avionics, representing the first commercial application of COGS in Europe.

COGS is a revolutionary, point-of-use oxygen gas generation device based upon Cobham's patented Integrated Manifold and Tube (IMAT) technology for military, commercial and industrial applications.

Simple to operate, with a modular design, COGS provides onsite ultra-pure oxygen (at least 99.99%) from ambient air for cylinder filling operations that meet or exceed aviator breathing oxygen (ABO) grade supply standards.

COGS offers complete operational control and security, an endless supply of point-of-use oxygen and the ability for fixed based operations/maintenance repair and overhaul (FBO/MRO) operations to reduce oxygen handling/supply costs by eliminating the need for cylinder transportation.

COGS is on display at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE 2015) on Cobham Stand V055.
