Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has received supplemental type certificate (STC) approval in China for the installation of their Beechjet two-place and three-place divan. The approval allows for installation of the divans in all Beechjet and Hawker Beechcraft 400 and 400A series aircraft.

Both the two-place and three-place divan add utility to any Beechjet/Hawker Beechcraft 400 or 400A by adding capacity and refreshing the cabin, giving it a more open look. The divan is available with the option of close-out panels, end cap armrests with drink holders, or end cap armrests with storage.

“The aviation industry continues to grow in China,” said AvFab's G. R. Lowe “As we started to see more and more Beechjet operators coming from the region, we knew this would be an important approval to pursue.”

There is no airframe modification necessary other than removing the existing seats/furnishings, and placing the divan in the desired location by locking it into the seat tracks. Complete installation instructions, diagrams and weight and balance data are included with the divan kit.
