Jet Aviation St. Louis authorized by Cayman Islands as approved maintenance organization

Jet Aviation St. Louis has received authorization from the Cayman Islands as an approved maintenance organization (AMO) under the Cayman Islands Civil Aviation Authority.

Cayman Islands certificate 178-CAY-AMO grants Jet Aviation St. Louis full authority to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in the Cayman Islands. Jet Aviation St. Louis has previously performed maintenance on aircraft registered in the Cayman Islands under one-time authorizations, a practice no longer necessary under the AMO certificate issued in April.

“The certification of Jet Aviation St. Louis as an AMO by the Cayman Islands expands our global capabilities, adding to the Aruba, Bermuda, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and South African certifications we currently hold,” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation St. Louis. “With this, Jet Aviation St Louis will be able to work on aircraft from 36 countries around the world. This is another addition to our capabilities as 'one destination for all things aviation.'”
