Aerion Corporation has appointed Sparkle Roll Group as its exclusive representative for the sale of the Mach 1.5 AS2 business in jet in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Aerion and Sparkle Roll Technik Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of Sparkle Roll Aviation (Holding) Group, have signed an Independent sales representative agreement this week.

Sparkle Roll Group is a diversified retailer of top-end automobiles and a broad portfolio of luxury products and services, as well as a distributor of movies and operator of cinemas. It is also one of China's largest CCAR Part 135/91 operators, managing a range of large-cabin and mid-size business aircraft.

“Sparkle Roll knows our market, knows the customer base for the AS2 and will play a key role in introducing routine supersonic flight in China and beyond,” said Aerion co-chairman Brian Barents. “We are delighted to work with them at the leading edge of business aviation.”

Sparkle Roll is launching its representation of the Aerion AS2 at the ABACE trade show in Shanghai. The AS2, in development by Aerion Corporation in Reno, Nevada, is a 9-12 place supersonic business jet with a planned service entry date of 2022.
