Evektor is pleased to announce the signing of two memoranda of understanding for the sale of the EV-55 Outback, the new nine seater turboprop airplane, at the LIMA 2015 exhibition.
The first MOU is between Evektor and Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of MMC Berhad and the second with APFT Services Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of APFT Berhad.
Signing on behalf of SATS were Dato' Sri Che Kalib Mohamad Noh, the chairman of SATS and En. Nik Muzani Nik Abdul Aziz. Signing on behalf of Evektor were Mr. Jaroslav Ruzicka and Mr. David Chew, both board members of Evektor.
This MOU is for the sale of two EV-55 airplanes. Delivery of the airplanes is scheduled for 2017. SATS plans to use these aircraft for chartered services and training.
Signing on behalf of APFT Service Sdn Bhd were Dato' Faruk Othman, executive chairman of APFT Berhad and En. Arif Faruk, executive director of APFT Berhad. Signing on behalf of Evektor were Mr. Jaroslav Ruzicka and Mr. David Chew, both board members of Evektor.
This MOU is also for the sale of two EV-55 airplanes. The airplanes will be used as air taxis and for connectivity services with focus on the resort islands of Pangkor, Tioman , Redang and Langkawi. APFT Services Sdn Bhd is a holder of the AOC license issued by the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) of Malaysia.
Definitive agreements for these MOUs are expected to be completed within six months.
Witnessing the signing of these agreements were YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, chairman of Evektor, YAB Dato' Seri Paduka Hj. Mukhriz Mahathir, Mentri Besar (chief minister) of Kedah and His Excellency Rudolf Hykl, the Czech Republic ambassador to Malaysia.
