Total AOC's Centrik gives Air Charter Scotland complete visibility

Air Charter Scotland has become the latest operator to deploy Total AOC's Centrik management system after seeing its potential to transform the visibility of its operations.

Having originally approached Total AOC to assist in completing manuals for the EASA transition, the South Lanarkshire-based charter business quickly realised that Centrik could make operational management even easier and deliver improvements on its safety management system.

Air Charter Scotland flight operations director Gary Pottage says: “When Total AOC introduced Centrik to us, we knew immediately it was something we really wanted. It's a great management tool because it closes the loop. You have complete visibility of everything going on within your operations and can track the progress of allocated tasks. It means there's no risk of anything, no matter how small, falling through the cracks.”

Pottage adds: “Centrik also comes with a ready-built safety management system, which was an improvement on the good system we already had. It has been extremely helpful and has proved an essential part of our business.”

Centrik provides a complete EASA-compliant management system, with modules for compliance, safety, risk, meetings, training, EFBs, workflows and documents. Operators can also choose to give regulators remote access to the management system, allowing them to easily prepare audits, reducing the impact of onerous oversight requirements on a business.

Air Charter Scotland operates a fleet of nine aircraft ranging from Citation IIs to Legacy 650s. Its flight crew of 28, supported by 17 ground staff, provide leisure and business charter, and aircraft management services.
