Prague ABS Jets is highlighting its one-stop-shop capabilities as well as its operation control center services during the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference, February 3 – 6, in San Jose, California.
The Czech company provides a range of services to business aircraft operators and owners seeking to outsource flight-planning services on either a part- or full-time basis. ABS Jets is one of the fastest growing business jet operators and a key player in central European business aviation market. From its bases in Prague and Bratislava, ABS Jets offers a comprehensive service portfolio and is a complete one-stop-shop for business jet operators and executive travelers flying to, from, or via Europe.
ABS Jets' Operations Control Center (OCC) will be represented at its booth #136 in the exhibition area by two of its finest and most experienced professionals. Jan Kralik is ABS Jets' director of ground operations and Michal Pazourek is ABS Jets' OCC manager. Both will be accompanied by Radek Novotny, ground handling manager.
ABS Jets runs its own OCC and provides flight planning services to operators around the world. The well experienced and highly qualified dispatchers apply their flight planning expertise to optimize flight efficiency while minimizing costs. “Being an established business jet operator ourselves, gives us a competitive advantage to fully understand the needs of demanding business jet customers,” explains Jan Kralik. "We can see and evaluate our operations not only from the side of the service provider, but also from the client's side, and I can assure you that we are a very demanding client ourselves, looking for the highest standards”.
Just recently ABS Jets´ OCC participated on an “around the globe” trip of one of their customers. “We work on similar trips throughout the year, supporting either our own fleet or external customers,” explains Michal Pazourek. “Every trip is different; some people want to fly easterly, others westerly. Some prefer quiet locations for their night stops, while the others big cities with a lot of entertainment. Last trip has been performed by one of our U.S. based Embraer Legacy PART 91 operators. The aircraft flew around the globe in three weeks with total of 12 stops,” Michal adds.
ABS Jets' OCC department staff do not only support jet aircraft operators, but also those who fly their propellers. Also delivery flights are among the most usual requests the team handles. “Last year we have participated on a number of flights from Europe to the most dangerous airport in the world, the Lukla airport in Nepal. Its elevation is 9,100 ft with a runway just 1,500 ft long with 12% gradient. The operator flew Let L410, a Czech made all-metal, high wing, twin turboprop commuter. We did enjoy those trips support,” says Michal Pazourek.
