DC Aviation is expanding its fleet of business jets with a Learjet 45 XR

Germany's largest operator of private jets has expanded its fleet of Learjets with one Learjet 45XR. This means the Stuttgart company is operating one of the largest and most modern executive fleets in Europe with a total of 32 business jets. Of these, four are a Learjet 40 and two a Learjet 60 from the Canadian manufacturer Bombardier.

"With its improved performance the Learjet 45XR fills the gap between the Learjet 40 and the Learjet 60" states sales director Jonas Kraft. With a maximum cruising range of 1,833 nm (3.395 km) the dynamic business jet can carry up to 8 passengers non-stop from Moscow to Milan for instance in just 3:10 hours or from London Luton to Istanbul in 3:20 hours with three passengers.

"What is so special about the Learjet 45 XR apart from the cruising range is the high rate of acceleration (time-to-climb). In less than 25 minutes this fast jet climbs from 535 mph (861 km/h) to 43,000 ft (13,106 m) in less than 25 minutes and reaches a comfortable cruising height free of turbulence at 51,000 ft (15,545 m). What is more, with its so-called "hot and high" ability it is also able to take off at high temperatures from very short runways, such as London for example."

"This unique flexibility is definitely much appreciated by our Learjet clientele. Dynamics and speed rank in first place apart from safety for many of our business clients," continues Kraft. The fleet of Learjets leaves nothing to be desired in the cabin either: comfortable club armchairs, an open-plan kitchen, Air Show, satellite telephone, CD/DVD and a separate toilet offer the utmost in comfort even on longer journeys. If required flight a flight attendant can be provided.
